Untold Stories

At City Gallery at Waterfront Park there will be an opening reception for their new show, Untold Stories, featuring James Innes, Kristi Ryba and Daphne vom Baur. The opening reception will be on March 12, 2010 from 6-8pm.

This exhibit includes some wonderful figurative paintings, and will be on display from March 12th through April 25th, 2010.

Artist lectures will can also be seen:
March 13th at 3pm - Daphne vom Baur
March 20th at 3pm - Joanna Innes and Roberta Sokolitz, for James Innes
March 27th at 3pm - Kristi Ryba

All events are free admission.

Berkeley County SPCA Fundraiser

Join the Berkely County SPCA in it's fundraiser to support the 13,000 animals it serves anually.

The party starts at 6pm on January 22, 2010 at Aster Hall.

Featured at the fundraiser will be contemporary southern artist Alex Leopold, and live funk band The Healing.

Cocktails and hors d'ouvres provided by Avondale Wine & Cheese, SweetWater Brewery, Lana Restaurant & Bar and, Cupcake.

The fourth annual Festival of Wreaths will be Thursday, December, 10 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Palmetto Cafe in Charleston Place . There will be champagne, hors d'oeuvres, live music from Silver Lining and, of course, great wreaths from local designers that will be auctioned with all proceeds going to the MUSC Children's Hospital. We're working with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) again this year as well as with the Youth Center at the Charleston Air Force Base who will provide three wreaths decorated by the kids there!
