The first time Soteria saw Charles, she knew she’d met the man she was going to marry, but it took three years for them to get together. They’ve since made up for lost time—tooling and jewelling together at Dixie Dunbar Studio (then taking over the business in 2008), buying a home, getting married, realizing Charles’s nursing dreams, and racking up enough frequent flyer miles to head to Greece in the summer.

Soteria: “Now that we’ve found one another we don’t even want to spend time apart—one of my girlfriends will call and ask me to come to a girls’ night and I’m like, ‘Uh, I can bring my husband, right?’”

Charles: “I used to walk back and forth on King St. where ‘Soteria sightings’ had occurred, hoping I would acci-purposely run into her on the street.”
