Planning a wedding in Italy? Corbin's got you covered. This former New York-based photographer and Charleston newcomer spends her summers base-camped in a Florence apartment, traveling from Sicily, to Tuscany to the Amalfi coast to shoot destination weddings throughout Italy. Tough love, right? But the gig is a perfect marriage for this NYU-trained photography and Italian major who's always brought a bit of wanderlust to her lens. After college, Corbin moved to Kosovo, "on a whim, by myself, what the hell," and ended up doing documentary photography work for an organization, which led to a heart-wrenching photography project for The Children of Chernobyl. While the wedding business is her bread and butter (and cake and champagne), Corbin keeps her camera bag packed. "Travel projects somehow find me. It's great to travel, and it's great to come home," especially to her two dogs, Eloise and Waldorf, and now to Charleston. "Charleston has a great European aesthetic, it's very art forward."
