bag our bag!

sabrina gave you the first sneak peek of our bag, but i wanted to get in on some of the action... here’s the other side of the bag:

obviously not very high quality, but i was DELIRIOUS and only thought to snag a photo with my camera phone. sab and i worked on the bag the weekend before we left for vday extraordinaire and i did this lettering while i rotated out loads of laundry and made stacks of “take” “don’t need” “maybe need” “if there’s room” clothes/shoes/books/shoes/accessories/undies/shoes.

i love the center for women’s purse auction, it’s such a great time and such a great combination of people, their creativity, and their purses. i’ve browsed the gallery of purses up for auction and although ours isn’t as swanky as some (wooo, beads! feathers!), i hope the fact that it’s #1 – full of books and #2 – has life-like skirt font lettering makes our bag that much more enticing!
