i live at hollywood and vine. scratch that, i live at hollywood and moultrie.

everyone knows kevin costner is in town filming a movie and playing at the music farm on his nights off. well the other night we came home to what looked like a truck-pulling festival in the parking lot across the street. after chatting with the neighbors, we found out they were filming a movie about “a ghost girl” on moultrie st, just around the corner from us.

after zooming in on one of the trailers the other morning, i found this:

using the super sleuth detective skills i honed while dating a crazy person, i figured out that mark thomason is a frequent stand in for kevin costner, wooo! and the only movie kevin costner is currently filming is the new daughter, which imdb says is about: A single father moves his two children to rural Illinois, only to watch his daughter exhibit increasingly strange behavior.

and, now i find on upcominghorrormovies.com, that it is indeed (obviously) a horror movie. i think i won’t see it. or maybe i’ll netflix it and only open my eyes for the parts that feature my ‘hood.
