day three was spent on the road mostly in mississippi (or as andie says: “what has four eyes but cannot see?”). we caught up with her at camp sister spirit and she was so fun and welcoming. in the beginning i didn’t really know what to expect, so i was a bit apprehensive and nervous. however, in the end i felt so at peace at the camp talking to andie about women and their lives. she let us in on a few spiritual secrets and really spoke her mind.

terry, also from the camp, with some of their dogs (my favorite was the spotty one on the left).

sabrina checking out a mural inside of a cabin.
we finally got to new orleans, and i ordered red beans and rice along with sausage – how nawlins of me. it looked like this:

ummm, yeah.
my friend devin took us out that night to get us acquainted with the neighborhood. i found this sign on frenchman street and thought it was very appropriate.
(although no one went for my idea of getting a tattoo to memorialize our fab trip)
outside of vaughan’s after seeing kermit ruffins, we found this graffiti – devin said it was one of his favorites and let us in on the graffiti wars and “the grey ghost”

awesome end to the night.
