skirt has a big box

occasionally, we at skirt! receive some unsolicited, very awesome things. like yesterday for example.

(when i told my friends, they did not believe me – i had to whip out my camera and show them. i will do this for you blog readers as well, because seriously, you will not believe it.)

at approximately 9:10 am, i was going through my emails and arranging my desk to get the day started. i heard the door open and heard something being slowly wheeled around.

(i sit closest to the door and usually i lunge to get a look at whoever is coming in, just to make sure they’re not hear to maim us – i take this very seriously. since it was early, i figured it was a fellow skirter and i kept on checking my email.)

only until i heard something being shoved and knocked against my cubicle wall did i start to worry. someone had to have been unloading a refrigerator on the other side of my desk. so i went to have a peek. i wasn’t far off:

as i signed for it, thefedex guy informed me that it was perishable and one package of a set of two. uhhhhhhhhh. assuming it wasn’t a small person trapped and waiting inside trying to invade the skirt office, the next most logical thing was that it was an entire lunch buffet for 30.

well, yes and no:

it was like 15 BOXES each containing 12 BAGS of dark dove chocolates. essentially, a chocolate buffet for closer to 300 people. after emptying the box of the boxes and ice packs, we did the only logical thing:

made julie climb inside so we could scare people!

...we’re still waiting for that second box, i’m hoping it’s milk chocolate.
