time to whine

i am trying this new thing called “budgeting.” it really sucks but i’m doing pretty well. i think it’s my competitive nature... my new self is competing with my old self to keep money instead of gain banana republic items. 

but the problem is, i crave all these things and i try to think of creative ways to make money. 

if i set up a lemonade stand, how many cups of country time would i have to sell to purchase this little number?

how many cars would i have to wash to purchase these suckers?

what if i harvested my eggs for, i dunno, this?
