Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats

The Footlight Players will be performing a musical adaptation of Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry’s book “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats.” During the production, sponsored by The Hat Ladies of Charleston, there will be a silent auction of hat-themed paintings and photographs by the members of the Charleston Artist Guild to benefit the Footlight Players Theater. footlightplayers.net and hatladies.org for artwork sneak peeks.
