By margaret, Wednesday, November 26, 2008My work: Mornings I work at Paw Purri for Pets on Folly Road, afternoons I teach voice lessons at Music Unlimited in Mount Pleasant, and in the evenings I perform at local pubs and restaurants, I love it all.
My hometown: A small town called Kinnelon in New Jersey-many mountains, small lakes, and national hiking trails.
I'm thinking about: Letting everything go and becoming a pirate.
What keeps me awake at night: Thinking and thinking and thinking and more thinking.
I am guilty of: Not keeping in touch with my sister well enough.
Right now I'm reading:The Four Agreements and Reflections of the Christ Mind.
The one item that has changed my life: A cell phone-I don't know if it's good or bad, but definitely changed.
Favorite web site: The Bank of America website-I'd be lost without it. I am horrible at keeping track of my money (which I don't have much of).
Last major purchase: A trip to Hawaii.
If I could do it all over again: I wouldn't.
My favorite body part: Neck.
The food I could eat every day: Biscuits.
The most important thing I ever lost: When I was little, I lost my rabbit's foot keychain and it broke my heart. I can deal with everything else.
The best thing I ever won: The love of someone very special to me.
I still can't get the hang of: Controlling my emotions when I am overrun with passion. This drives me nuts.
I wish I'd known: How to recognize when people are trying to manipulate or take advantage of you. I know now.
I'd like to learn to: Do tricks on a skateboard and paint better.
The worst idea I've ever had: Getting really drunk before a gig.
The smartest woman I know: My mom.
My first job: At "Taste of Reality," the local deli. I made the best sandwiches.
What are you most vain about? I don't know. Maybe someone should tell me.
Never... Take things personally.
I wish… The people I care about most would all find happiness with themselves and in their lives.
