even more girls!

we hit a snag last week finding a girl power for january’s issue, when BAM! it hit me... what’s coming up in february? v-day! not just valentine’s day my dears, but vagina, victory, and valentine’s day. and in charleston, that means vagina monologues! last year i was actually in the production, reading the monologue “my short skirt,” which was great. (maybe i’ll do it again?)

so, loving all things vagina, i of course contacted the producers of the show who are sophomores at the college. 3 fantastic girls agreed to be featured last minute, and i am so grateful! (this is apparently what happens in publishing: you freak out and make phone calls and keep your fingers crossed when one bad thing has already happened.)

we did the shoot on friday and leigh webber, our fantas photog (i like abbrev, pls excuse), sent me this extra shot –
