After working with Habitat for Humanity for over a year, Lauren Bush and Chris Pomroy felt they had found their purpose and decided to strike out and start their own company, On The Level Renovating. The business has grown quite a bit since its inception, mostly due to word-of-mouth reviews from satisfied customers. The handy pair believe that, as women, they have a unique sense of duty, "We know what it's like to have to clean up after people; we're not going to leave a mess," Chris explains. "Having work done in your home shouldn't be stressful, we want our customers to feel comfortable, never rushed," says Lauren.
